Plot
Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that’s entertaining Neel’s younger siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family attends in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

Since I know a lot of hate will be directed at this show because of the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I’m happy to say that this one is an improvement. So far…
Again, nothing new, but it’s intriguing nonetheless, and I’m excited to keep watching
The first 2 episodes don’t break new ground or feel very original, but that’s not a problem since it delivers on everything. The cast and acting are great, the costumes/set design are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good.
It gives me major Treasure Planet vibes
As someone who didn’t like recent Star Wars, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who’s mildly interested, or even annoyed by the recent shows, gives it a shot.
