The first season covers the first 30 chapters of the book "Wool" – the book has 82 chapters.. The floor fans in the various episodes spin in the wrong direction, as far as the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way does not push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Binge (2023). I really enjoyed Silo. Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. However, I had not read or heard of the books that Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The series is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who now live in a silo, and these people have never left the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. They do know that leaving the silo is fatal. Some people choose to leave to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can witness through a window every time someone wants to leave, and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson has the lead role of Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying. The acting is good, as is the character development. However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are some filler episodes. They could have definitely shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me too much, because the series as a whole is very good, I’m looking forward to the second season with more suspense, mystery and answers to what’s happening outside the silo!
