The exterior shots of the house are similar to the same house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
It tells the story of three very different families who are all vying to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show had such a low rating, but it made more sense after seeing a lot of reviews explaining how they didn’t make it past the first episode.
I really love the cast and everyone’s acting
The show is a slow-burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it fun and entertaining with a particular tone from Liz Feldman that I enjoy.
The characters all have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually unravels, though not entirely
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own biases (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond), but that wore off pretty quickly. By the last episode I was already pretty invested in the story, despite having figured out the main twist early on.
I’m not mad about it though
I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
